SEASONS Mahjong by MJLA
Crisloid ushers in a new era with this striking Mahjong offering. We have created SEASONS Mahjong by MJLA, a set that marries the rich history of this time-honored game with a fresh, modern style.
ABOUT THE SET
- The traditional carrying case has been replaced with an eye-catching powder coated tool box.
- The hand drawn quality of the Dots, the refined Bamboos and the coloration of the Cracks, pay homage to Mahjong’s illustrious past.
- Seasonal trees replace the traditional flower tiles. The color story starts with the light tints of spring, then moves to the warm shades of summer, through the rich tones of fall and culminates in a lush evergreen display.
- The traditional Dragon is re-imagined as a dragonfly. The White Dragon (soap) is a playful interpretation of the classic tile.
- The Winds and Jokers represent the creators’ lifelong passion for text and fonts. Their love of words and humor is best reflected in the Jokers, because, as we all know, “Everybody Loves A Joker”.

.This set is amazing. I have several sets, but nothing that comes close to the beauty of this although I prefer the Dragon set to the more contemporary design, I would love either,

The set itself is fantastic and unique. The feel of the tiles is solid and smooth. The only think wrong is that it came with three odd plastic dice. Looks like they came out of a bargain bin. For $1,000, I think Crisloid could have added a unique pair of dice to compliment the art-deco styling of the tile designs. Maybe they still will do so for buyers like me.
